Orchid care

Orchid care is very important if you want your orchid to live long and stay beautiful. Some orchids are very difficult to care for. If you are new to the world of orchids, you may want to stick with orchid care for a cattleya. The orchid care for this type is not as intense as the care for other types of orchids.

Good orchid care for a cattleya involves sufficient lighting – place them at an east window. They can adapt to quite a range of temperatures. Water your cattleya once or twice a week. Proper orchid care for a cattleya also involves fertilizing them on a regular basis, keeping them in 40-60% humidity, growing them in medium orchid bark, and keeping pests away from them. Good luck with your orchid care!
